The Vortex is a skim style board for riders who love to do spins, slides, shuvs, and all other kinds of skate style tricks behind the boat. With less volume and a flatter rocker than our surf style models, the Vortex is well-suited for beginner to advanced riders who want a responsive and capable board for skim style wakesurfing.

The standard fin setup for the Vortex is a single Futures TMF-1 fin, which is typical for skim style boards. We also offer the option of a 3-fin setup, with two additional forward fins to help beginner riders maintain control. Alternatively, the forward fins can be swapped out for Futures F2 fins for more drive and a little bit more of a surf-style feel.
