For several years, we've been working diligently behind the scenes and are beyond stoked to finally share our boards with the public. Wakestar was founded with the goal of creating high quality custom wakesurf boards from scratch under one roof, using only the finest materials sourced right here in the USA. We strongly believe in homegrown manufacturing and supporting other American businesses, and we will NEVER outsource our manufacturing overseas. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is at the forefront of our business, and we will never compromise on those principles.
Our board lineup is comprised of three models (for now), covering both surf and skim style designs. We love making beautiful and unique custom boards, but we also wanted to have "stock" boards that look awesome as well. Each model has its own unique stock graphic, with several color schemes to choose from. You can also choose your own colors for the graphic, in addition to colors for the traction pads and finboxes. This is great for people who want a "semi-custom" board, without the premium cost of a full blown custom.
The Poseidon is our take on a pure surf style experience behind the boat. The low rocker and single concave along with a progressive rail design allows for a fast and responsive ride. Whether you're boosting for airs, doing snaps on the lip, or just cruising in the pocket, the Poseidon offers a more advanced ride than our Slipstream model for those who want to take their wakesurfing to the next level.
The SlipStream is a surf style board that's great for beginner to intermediate riders. The rocker is designed to be forgiving and resist nose diving without sacrificing down-the-line speed. The full outline provides stability and transitions to a rounded tail that lets you pivot and break loose for snaps, spins and airs. A tucked rail edge offers the perfect balance between hold and release on the wake.
The Vortex is a skim style board for riders who love to do spins, slides, shuvs, and all other kinds of skate style tricks behind the boat. With less volume and a flatter rocker than our surf style models, the Vortex is well-suited for beginner to advanced riders who want a responsive and capable board for skim style wakesurfing. The Vortex has two unique stock graphics to choose from.
